	Ranmal International Agency was established in 1987 and was engaged in the import of machinery and export of nontraditional items. In 1994, this company branched off to the ceramic, porcelain tableware and tile industry and specialized in the supply of machinery, ancillary equipment and raw materials for the above industries. Since then we have been a leading supplier of machinery, equipment and raw materials for the local industry, from reputed machinery and equipment suppliers worldwide. In2004, Ranmal International (Pvt) Limited was incorporated to handle the increase in volume of business. The Managing Director, Mr. Ranjit Jayewardene is a Mechanical Engineer with wide Technical and Managerial experience. He was the Plant Manager and later the Technical Director of Associated Yuasa Batteries Lanka Ltd (a joint venture of Yuasa Battery Corporation of Japan). He is also a Director of a few other companies and President of JASTECA- (Japan Sri Lanka Technical & Cultural Association) and past President of Sri Lanka - Italy Business Council.
